Welcome to Mikayla Heinen Photography, one of my favorite adventures yet.

I’m Mikayla and I’m a destination wedding photographer based out of Columbus, Ohio. While most of the couples I serve are local to me, I also take on a handful of destination weddings each year. I truly feel like I’m living the dream getting to document so many love stories all over the world.

We’ll plan out your day-of timeline together and communicate all throughout the process, leaving you to be present and enjoy your day with the ones you love.

In my free time, you could probably find me editing at a local coffee shop, at happy hour with some friends, walking my dog around our neighborhood, at Orangetheory, or snuggling up on the couch watching a show with my boo thang. Or let’s be real, I’m probably on a flight to some new epic location documenting someone’s wedding weekend hehe My husband and I also help with a youth group at our church every week and a lil piece of my heart will live there forever.
